Ottawa, ON, December 24, 2024 — Harris, a global vertical market software provider, announces the completion of its acquisition of SirsiDynix, the world's leading provider of library technology solutions.

SirsiDynix creates, develops, and delivers robust software and services for libraries across the world. Connecting over 300 million people with information and resources, SirsiDynix serves more than 23,000 academic, public, school, government, and corporate library facilities in over 70 countries. With approximately 360 employees, SirsiDynix offers three integrated library systems (ILS) products (Symphony, Horizon, and EOS.Web) and the BLUEcloud suite of web-based interfaces and workflows, which continues to be actively developed and expanded.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone for SirsiDynix, representing a definitive transition from private equity ownership into a permanent position within Harris and its parent company, Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU), a publicly traded company headquartered in Toronto. Unlike private equity firms, Constellation follows a buy-and-hold strategy, acquiring businesses and retaining them indefinitely.
